This quest leads to further tasks, including the search for a flea-infested item for the subsequent quest, "Ill Repute." Pick Up 'A Good Scrub'
To start, speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work, who will direct you to Betty's bathhouse located in the southeast part of the city. When you meet Betty, express your interest in working for her. She'll task you with going to Grund to find Matsek, who is hesitant about being seen with the girls he's supposed to bring to the bathhouse. Head to the courtyard where Matsek is, and you'll find three girls at a table. Inform them that you're there on Betty's behalf and escort them back to the city.
Promote the Bathhouse
Upon returning with the girls, Betty will ask you to help promote the bathhouse by spreading the word at the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. This must be done during the day, so if it's evening, wait until morning to proceed.
Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish 'A Good Scrub'
After promoting the bathhouse, you'll need to clean it up before the alderman's inspection. Completing these tasks quickly is crucial; failure to do so will result in the bathhouse being shut down, preventing you from picking up the "Ill Repute" quest.
Finding Fleas for 'Ill Repute' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Once the bathhouse passes inspection, speak to Betty about ongoing issues. She'll reveal that the city council is deciding on the main bathhouse, and you need to make the councillor leave the competing bathhouse. To do this, gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's dislikes.
You'll need Chamomile Brew to add to the wine cask on the second floor of the competing bathhouse. To learn about the councillor's preference for fragrant oils, give Little Lida a noblewomen's dress from a tailor. Alternatively, you can sabotage by lockpicking a cabinet on the third floor and stealing the oils.
Katcha will mention that the bathhouse once had fleas. To find the flea-infested item, head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City, where you'll find a small camp of beggars. Search the sacks there to find a flea-infested blanket.
With the flea-infested blanket in hand, return to the competing bathhouse and go to the room where you added the Chamomile Brew. When no one is watching, interact with the baskets and pour the fleas into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket.
If you struggle to find the flea-infested item, remember that completing just one of the three tasks (Chamomile Brew, fragrant oils, or fleas) is enough to make the councillor leave, allowing you to complete the quest and move on to others like "Axe from the Lake."
