Just a few short weeks after developer Dreamcube launched Miraibo GO on mobile and PC, the first in-game season has arrived, perfectly timed for Halloween. Dubbed Abyssal Souls, this new season brings all the spine-chilling terror you'd expect from a Halloween-themed event, along with the exciting new content you'd anticipate from a game that's already garnered over 100,000 downloads on Android alone.
For those new to the game, Miraibo GO offers the closest mobile experience to PalWorld, allowing players to explore a vast open-world environment in search of monsters to capture, battle, and care for. These monsters, known as Mira, come in a diverse array of forms, from massive reptilians to charming bird-like creatures and nimble mammal-esque critters. With over a hundred different Mira in the game, each possesses unique skills, abilities, and elemental affinities. Mastering the art of battle involves understanding which Mira performs best against others and in different terrains, be it a sandy beach, a chilly mountaintop, tranquil grasslands, or a searing desert.
Beyond the thrill of capturing and battling, Miraibo GO offers a domestic side where players can return to their base and utilize their Mira for building, resource gathering, farming, and other household tasks.
Season Worlds
Miraibo GO's seasons system introduces Season Worlds, where each new event opens a temporal rift in the game's lobby, granting access to a parallel dimension hosting the season's activities. Each Season World features unique Mira, buildings, progression systems, items, and gameplay features. At the end of the season, your progress will unlock rewards that can be redeemed in Miraibo GO's main world.
About Abyssal Souls
For its inaugural event, Miraibo GO embraces the Halloween spirit with the Abyssal Souls Season World and a lore-rich narrative. An ancient, mythic evil known as the Annihilator has emerged, creating an entire island and bringing with it a host of minions, including event-exclusive Mira like Darkraven, Scaraber, and Voidhowl. Your challenge is to confront and defeat these Mira, including the formidable Annihilator. A pro tip: tackle them during daylight hours, as monsters are stronger at night in the Abyssal Souls world.
This season introduces fresh gameplay mechanics, leveling the playing field for newcomers against seasoned players. Gaining a level will now modestly increase your health instead of granting attribute points. Additionally, a new Souls system allows you to spend collected Souls on powerful stat bonuses, though losing a fight means losing all your Souls. Fortunately, you'll retain your equipment and Mira upon defeat.
Abyssal Souls also features an event-exclusive PvP system, with battles occurring on the Annihilator's island in a free-for-all format. Success in these battles can earn you Spectral Shards, which you can spend on special items and rewards. Throughout the event, you can explore new buildings like the Abyss Altar, Pumpking Lamp, and Mystic Cauldron, and discover a secret zone called Ruin Arena, where you can participate in PvP and a Ruin Defense Event.
For those less inclined towards combat, you can enjoy the special Halloween costumes and accessories, leaving the scarier challenges to the braver players.
