Author : Samuel May 23,2025

Independent developer Tyler has released the eagerly awaited 0.3.4 update for the viral hit game, Schedule I, following a short testing phase. This update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, marks the first major content expansion since the game's explosive early access launch on March 24.

In the update, players can now explore a functional pawn shop and the Bleuballs Boutique, alongside new wall decorations and other features listed below. Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in a Steam post, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured fans that future updates would run smoother and be more timely, with larger monthly updates starting next month.

Looking ahead, Tyler is prioritizing the resolution of remaining bugs, including ensuring employee consistency, preventing save game corruption, and minimizing multiplayer disconnections and loading issues. He's also focused on optimizing the game and aims to achieve Steam Deck verification, using it as a performance benchmark.

For those looking to dive deeper into the game, check out IGN's Schedule I guide. It covers everything from the basics of mixing recipes and creating new blends to maximize profit, to accessing console commands, and the quickest way to enter multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

Schedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, surpassing major titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after going viral across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as a small-time drug dealer and work their way up to becoming a kingpin, managing drug production and distribution in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and employees.

The game is developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie studio led by Tyler, who described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a Reddit post, Tyler shared, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
