What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
It is an animation based on the popular youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. The story is set in the world of high school volleyball.
A "fallen powerhouse, a flightless crow"—this is the reputation of Karasuno High School, whose goal is to return to the "top" of the national stage.
The series follows the passionate story of protagonist Shoyo Hinata, who is captivated by volleyball, and the unique characters who surround him.
In August 2022, the production of a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime was officially announced.
