Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, Sunborn's free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, incorporates a gacha system. A common question among players is whether the pity counter persists across different banners. The answer is: Yes, for limited banners.

Your accumulated pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next. During the global launch, for instance, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pity progress applied to both, regardless of which banner you pulled from. Reaching the pity threshold on one allowed a guaranteed high-rarity character pull on the other.

This system applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Once a limited banner concludes, its pity progress carries over to the subsequent limited banner.

However, it's crucial to note that pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner until near pity and then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed pull.

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances progressively increase until the guaranteed pull at 80.

This explanation clarifies the pity carry-over mechanic in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game tips, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
