Lost Soul Aside, originally slated for release on May 30, 2025, has been pushed back three months to August 29, 2025, as announced by its developer, Ultizero Games. The highly anticipated PC and PlayStation 5 single-player action game, which has been in development for nearly a decade, was initially set to launch next month. However, in a recent statement, Ultizero Games cited the need for additional polishing time as the reason for the delay.

"We are deeply grateful for the incredible support we've received from gamers worldwide since announcing Lost Soul Aside," said Ultizero Games. "To ensure we deliver a game that meets our high standards, we've decided to extend our development timeline. Lost Soul Aside will now release on August 29, 2025. We sincerely thank our fans for their patience and continued enthusiasm."

[ttpp]Originally conceived as the passion project of solo developer Yang Bing, Lost Soul Aside has evolved into a major title under Sony's China Hero Project. Bing, now the founder and CEO of Shanghai-based Ultizero Games, shared insights into the game's journey during a recent interview with IGN.

From its humble beginnings to the viral buzz surrounding its initial reveal video in 2016, Lost Soul Aside has captured the imagination of fans worldwide. The game features the protagonist Kesar, who wields a versatile, shape-shifting weapon capable of altering playstyles. Supporting Kesar is Arena, a dragon-like companion capable of summoning abilities to aid in battle.

Inspired by franchises like Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry, Lost Soul Aside emphasizes aerial dodging, precise timing, combos, counterattacks, and epic boss battles. Set against a backdrop of sci-fi themes and contemporary aesthetics, the game spans multiple dimensions, offering a campaign rich with mystery and intrigue. While details of the narrative remain scarce, Bing describes Kesar's odyssey as one of "redemption and discovery."
