The Remembrance path, well-known from the Simulated Universe for its crowd-control freezing effects, takes on a new role in Honkai: Star Rail’s version 3.0 update. Now a playable character path, Remembrance shifts focus to summoning units, much like Jing Yuan’s Lightning Lord, offering both damage and support utilities.
As the Ice Remembrance Trailblazer, the character’s core mechanic revolves around charging their summon, Mem. This summon enables allies to deal True DMG while providing support by advancing ally actions and boosting their Crit Rate and Crit DMG. This positions Trailblazer as a support-oriented unit. However, the newness of this path limits light cone options tailored to their kit.
Avoid damage-focused light cones like Sweat Now, Cry Less (4-star), Geniuses' Greetings (4-star), or Time Woven Into Gold (Aglaea’s 5-star signature), as they don’t align with Trailblazer’s support role. Below are the top light cone choices and why they excel in Honkai: Star Rail.

The top choice for Remembrance Trailblazer is Victory In a Blink, a fully F2P-friendly light cone available through the Forgotten Hall’s Light Cone Manifest Store. Its accessibility allows players to acquire and max superimpose it with enough currency. While the Crit DMG boost is less critical for a support unit, the secondary effect—enhancing allies’ DMG for three turns—perfectly complements Mem’s support abilities.
Victory In a Blink is the most cost-effective and impactful light cone for Remembrance Trailblazer. For those unable to access it immediately, two other options are viable, though slightly less optimal.

Shadowburn is a decent choice for Remembrance Trailblazer, particularly for speeding up battles. Its key benefit is recovering a skill point and generating Energy when Mem is first summoned, which is useful in short battles or content requiring high efficiency. This effect accelerates Mem’s charge, enabling faster ability use.
However, Shadowburn’s effect only triggers on Mem’s initial summon, making it less effective in prolonged battles beyond 2–3 turns. Players may find other light cones more reliable for sustained encounters.

For players lacking higher-tier light cones or aiming to boost Mem and Trailblazer’s DMG, Reminiscence, a 3-star light cone, is a solid option. Unlike 4-star and 5-star light cones that emphasize Basic ATK DMG or Crit Rate, which don’t suit Mem or Trailblazer, Reminiscence’s DMG increase offers value for minimal investment.
However, reaching full stacks takes up to four turns, as stacks for Mem and Trailblazer are counted separately. This makes Reminiscence better suited for longer battles rather than quick clears, unlike Shadowburn’s immediate but fleeting utility. It’s a practical choice for players without better alternatives.
