Application Description

A simple, non-field RPG where you escape a cursed forest.

Prologue: You're the village's best hunter, drawn to a national hunting tournament near the royal capital. After your first night camping, you discover a deserted campsite, devoid of the other hunters. National guards usually oversee the tournament; their absence is unsettling. You attempt to return to the forest's entrance, only to find yourself back where you started. This disorientation is the first sign of something amiss.

The Elven Curse: Aided by Foria, a quarter-elf, you must escape the cursed forest. Gameplay is streamlined, using a maximum of three buttons outside the main menu.

Character Creation: While character customization is limited, you can reroll stats repeatedly. Stat increase rates upon leveling are only visible on this screen; they're not accessible during gameplay. Losing all life force results in character death; carrying fewer than two "talismans" exacerbates this risk.

Foria, the Peddler Quarter-Elf: A young-looking quarter-elf who claims to be older than you. He secretly aids your escape using the forest's ancient spirits.

Game Setting: The prologue unfolds like a visual story, with Foria's dialogue maintaining a cheerful tone. The game's world is presented through understated, evocative language.

Exploration: Progress through the forest by exploring unexplored areas. Exploration success is determined by "fog depth," influenced by your character's stats. If your life force is depleted, use poison or rare talismans, potentially requiring a return to Foria.

Beast Encounters & Hunter Battles: Wild animals, from wolves to frogs, will attack. Killing them yields hides for trading with Foria. Unlike typical RPGs, combat doesn't grant experience. The goal is escape, and battles are avoidable (though requiring luck or strategic play). As a hunter, you use a bow and arrow, requiring distance to attack safely. Closing the distance risks a one-sided attack. You can either withdraw to regain distance or use a "flash" ball provided by Foria for guaranteed escape.

Cloak System: Craft cloaks from gathered materials (branches, resin, leather) to enhance your abilities. Up to three layers can be worn, cumulatively boosting stats. Cloaks can also restore vitality, but they can tear and become unusable. The bow and arrow remain unchanged.

Game Features: This game emphasizes gameplay over complex systems, offering a blend of reflex-testing, strategic thinking, skill, and luck. It includes material collection, synthesis, and alchemy. Preparation (leveling and item acquisition) is a significant aspect.

Auto-Save: The game auto-saves, but not during battles. Saving your progress is recommended via the base menu before closing the app.
