The Witcher 4 developer CD Projekt Red has announced plans to reveal more about its highly-anticipated RPG this week.
In a social media post today, CD Projekt Red confirmed it will showcase "the innovative technology and features powering The Witcher 4 and beyond" during Epic Games' State of Unreal presentation tomorrow.
The keynote begins at 9:30 AM Eastern on June 3, with a livestream available worldwide.
Last year's State of Unreal featured Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra—Amy Hennig's Captain America and Black Panther adventure—suggesting The Witcher 4 reveal could offer our first look at in-game (or in-engine) footage. So far, only a CGI teaser has been released, leaving fans wondering: Will we see actual gameplay tomorrow? The answer is coming soon.
We'll be coming together with @UnrealEngine to present during the State of Unreal.
We’re looking forward to showcasing some of the innovative technology & features that will power The Witcher 4, and beyond.

Notably, CD Projekt mentions tech that impacts not just The Witcher 4, but also "beyond." Could this hint at additional Witcher games or even Cyberpunk 2? The studio has remained tight-lipped, fueling speculation among fans.
The Witcher 4 marks a fresh chapter for the franchise, with Ciri stepping into the protagonist role following Geralt's story. Last month, Geralt’s voice actor Doug Cockle defended the shift, urging critics to "read the damn books."
Stay tuned to IGN tomorrow for the latest updates—including our first potential look at The Witcher 4 in action—straight from State of Unreal 2025.
